Job Description
Dog Trainer- Part time position working days,evenings and weekends. You make your own schedule but there will be certain hours that will be unavailable. We're looking for someone who will be able to use rewards based training with great customer service skills who is excited to build a great repoir with custmers and the dogs. Beginner, off leash, board and train. Must be a self starter since you will be helping me develop a program that will be a good fit.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of dog training experience.
- good references
- reliable and punctual
- great customer service skills
- certification or willing to get certified
- good communication skills
- ability to grow the business
- ability to use social media to promote
- physically able to handle large dogs
Responsibilites
- Identifying and problem solving dog behaviior and owner behavior and expectations
- Documenting each visit with progress reports
- Communicating with the customer and me on each visit in a professional manner
- Creating relationships with the dogs and the owners
- Setting your schedule
- Training the dogs and cleanng up after them and yourself
- Promoting on social media
- Work Independantly
- Work in varying temperatures
- Keeping the dogs safe and secure at all times
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.30 - $35.26 per hour
