The Reach Corporation does training for DDCA (Direct Disabled Care Aid). This will train you to work in our facilities in Okmulgee, Okemah or Weleetka (you choose what area you want to go to). The classes are 3-weeks long that you get paid for the classes are at our Henryetta Office. To just sit through the class is $8.75 per hour. Once you become certified and start working your pay will go up to $9.50 per hour. Once you are certified for 6-months you may go on to obtain your CMA (certified Medication Administration) certification & a pay increase. Below is a job description of what your job duties will be once you are certified. We have shift differential pay for the 11-7 shift and our weekend shift's as well.

The Development Disability Care Aide (DDCA) position provided direct supervision and training to the individuals who reside in a facility, group home or personal residence. The supervision may occur in a day services setting also. This supervision and training will vary in degree of intensity based on the needs of each individual. The job responsibilities also include protecting and affirming the rights of the individuals while assisting them to achieve greater independence by creating an environment responsive to their needs. Each DDCA must be able to independently implement all aspects of each Individual Habilitation Plan (PCP, IHP) as well as individually operate and complete all household duties.
