Scope of Responsibilities:

• Leverage leadership and analytical skills to improve solutions delivery
• Provide the customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it means, and how they can use it to solve their challenges.
• Analyze optimization algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, automate processes, apply machine learning techniques, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn disparate data points into objective answers to help shape informed decisions.
• Enhance existing data interface analysis tools to ensure accuracy of available information.
• Enable the data needs to the element level, map interface interdependencies, and improve on the existing data interface analysis tooling through evaluation of content and understanding of requirements.
• Consolidate information repositories into the data warehouse to advance operational and analytical capabilities.
• Support Data initiatives to ensure resilience and manage potential risks.

Required Qualifications:

• Experienced data architect who understands data and data management from an enterprise architecture perspective
• Ability to translate business-oriented information requirements into technical data management solutions by developing and implementing enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data that enables more effective cross-enterprise and inter-enterprise system interoperability
• 8+ years of experience as a Data Management professional
• 2+ years leading a team of Data Management professionals
• Experience with the pre-dominant methodologies and technologies within the Enterprise Data Management realm
• Experience in systems architecture development, with a focus on cloud-based data architectures
• Experience defining data engineering pipelines, with a focus on establishing secure data connections to a variety of data source types, automated data cleaning and processing, metadata definition, and other data cataloging activities
• Experience with model development for conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Experience developing Project and Strategic plans
• Experience working in Data Management programs within the DoD
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture practices and views
• Knowledge of Jupiter or ADVANA, Qlik or Tableau, Collibra, JIRA or Confluence, RStudio, Jupyter Notebooks, DataBricks, and other analytic tools
• Knowledge of DoD Data Security Standards and Policies, including FEDRAMP, RMF, or NIST
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
