SunCoast Restoration and Waterproofing, LLC. is actively searching for skilled LEADERS to manage our growing teams in Destin, Panhandle area.

SUMMARY

Construction Superintendents monitor projects from planning to completion, including tasks such as budgeting and scheduling. They follow quality standards and ensure the safety and security of the construction site. Provide specific project related deliverables and ensure that company policies and procedures are met in regard to quality and client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers

• Routing materials, coordinate with Manager

• Rental equipment, coordinate with Manager

• Cost tracking- ensuring that all rental equipment and materials are managed

Create schedules for workers and subcontractors

• Developed for Super to assign tasks for all workers using Procore.

• Initiates schedules developed by Precon for project(s).

• Manage all subcontractors to the standards of Suncoast.

Walk job sites consistently, documenting inconsistencies and inefficiencies.

• QC

• tracking production

• ID inefficiencies

Conduct regular meetings

• Safety

• Production meetings - who’s going where and doing what

• Record all near misses and observations and any incidents

• Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary

• Produce detailed daily reports to include hours consumed, tasks performed, and % complete.

Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

• Enforce and instruct Company and OSHA safety standards.
• Competent operators are working this equipment Ariel lift equipment, swing stage assembly and operation, scaffold erection.
• Manage crew sizes compared to available hours and schedule requirements and communicated with Gen Super.
• Maintain direct communication with the Manager, General Superintendents Property Managers and Consultants in keeping with Suncoast Core Values.
• Evaluate and understand bid documents to include drawings, specifications, schedules etc.

Security from theft and damage

• Manage on-site equipment, including rental equipment, dumpsters and owned equipment.
• Time Management of all equipment

Certification Management

• Obtain superintendents certification in Procore
• Obtain OSHA 10 certification
• Obtain OSHA 30 certification

Adhere to the Code of Conduct

• Have thorough knowledge of company procedures manual
• Lead by example, setting the tone for your crew, and maintaining a positive moral while achieving desired levels of production.

Safety/Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to all standards and processes as defined in the Safety Manual and the Safety Procedures Manual.
• Ensure all safety documentation is accurately completed.

• Stay current with all company and/or OSHA training requirements.

Qualifications:

• Have a thorough understanding of safe work practices as defined by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and the company safety manual.
• An ability to thoroughly understand and follow plans and specifications in the construction of project.
• Utilize organizational skills to build successful teams for completion of projects tasks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work outside in all elements, including bending, lifting, walking and climbing
• Advanced knowledge of related construction trades, techniques, equipment, and materials.
• A conscientious attitude towards controlling job costs and adhering to progress schedules.
• A conscientious attitude towards quality workmanship that follows product and supplier installation, application or fabrication instructions.

• Coatings (Traditional and Deck Coatings)
• Concrete Restoration and Construction
• Door and Window Removal/install
• Caulking and Sealant removal/install
• Wet Glazing removal/install
• Epoxy/urethane injection
• Carbon fiber reinforcement
• Swing Stage install/removal
• Scaffold Install/remove
• Ariel Lift Operation
• OSHA safety standards

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional attendance at meetings and other off-site events requires the ability to provide reliable transportation. Must maintain a current, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Employees must be able to travel between work offices and corporate offices to include worksites.

Other duties may be assigned as company needs dictate. Management reserves the right to modify this job description at any time and at their discretion.
