Summary

We are recruiting for a Compensation Analyst based at our Corporate Headquarters in Salisbury MD. Performs data analysis, data modeling, and compensation administration (base and variable compensations programs) working independently with general direction. Provides client consulting in compensation-related matters.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provides client consulting to assigned businesses in all areas of compensation advising and providing tools, education, solutions and issue avoidance.

Utilizes a variety of cloud-based systems, apps and programs to assist with executing major business processes such as the merit review/award process, and plan administration for short and long-term incentives.

Develops and maintains administration tools (databases, calculators, models, etc) and documents processes.

Performs job analysis and job matching to complete salary surveys.

Evaluates and assigns new jobs to the appropriate grade within the Company’s Base Pay Structure.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

Two to four years of professional level experience in compensation and/or HR experience. Advanced Excel skills required.

Experience Preferred

• Food Industry compensation experience
• Compensation Certification (CCP)
• HR certification (SHRM/HRCI)
• Advanced Database design and administration

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
