Job Description

Enthusiastic, team-oriented professional to fill our Clinical Case Manager position in our Cambridge, MA location. This is a full-time, 9:00-5:30, Monday through Friday position. The Clinical Case Manager works closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that clinical work is consistent with the philosophy and objectives of CEDC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed or License-eligible clinician (Psy.D., Ph.D., MSW, LMHC, LICSW, LCSW)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident, articulate and personable
  • Comfortable working with patients and families in person, via Zoom, or over the telephone
  • Comfortable conducting group therapy
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work as a multi-disciplinary team member
  • Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of clinical experience providing direct clinical care with psychiatric and mental health populations
  • Experience working in the field of eating disorders
  • Strong clinical, communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced mental health environment
  • Experience with CBT and DBT modalities

Responsibilities:

  • Orient patient to the program rules and parameters of the Case Manager’s relationship with the patient
  • Provide individual therapy
  • Provide family therapy
  • Assist families in implementing behavioral strategies
  • Provide group therapy
  • Provide crisis intervention
  • Develop and update treatment plans
  • Collaborate with patient providers and other outpatient providers
  • Complete clinical documentation as required for the appropriate level of care
  • Conduct concurrent reviews with insurance companies
  • Develop appropriate discharge plans
  • Develop relapse prevention plans
  • Conduct initial evaluations
  • Perform other duties as needed
