The Opportunity:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
CONSOR Engineers, LLC is currently seeking to fill the position of Civil-Site Engineer focused on civil site design and stormwater in Nashville or Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities:
Typically works on civil-site or stormwater projects including preparation of grading, drainage, site layout, utility and erosion control plans.- Ability to provide detailed third-party reviews of developer plans and drainage calculations to support local permitting agencies
- Support Project Manager by providing technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings
- Works with Civil Designers to produce drawings, exhibits, and reports
- Develops hydrology models, calculates earthwork volumes, and other similar calculations
- Review work of other team members for quality
- Prepare reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for projects
- Ability to provide comprehensive review of completed civil project/development plans
- Attend client meetings as needed
- On occasion visit job site for construction observation duties
- Perform other duties as required
- P.E. license
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation preferred.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling programs such as: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, StormCAD, CivilStorm, Watershed Modeling System (WMS), Surface Modeling System (SMS)/SRH-2D, FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox.
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced high-achieving team relying on each member's individual delivery for success
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
