Job Decsription:

Will include, but not limited to: Monitors patients and collects information for documentation in the patient record. Posts laboratory and other tests results. Transports patients and documents action on patient record. Collects and records vital signs, weights, and other patient data in patient record. Administers oxygen under the direction of a licensed Nurse. Assists clinicians and providers with sterile procedures. Documents all care provided in the appropriate place in the patient record Removes peripheral, intravenous therapy lines and urethral tubes. Operates patient monitoring systems specific to unit needs (such as, cardiac, and fetal heart monitoring). Insures cleanliness of nutrition areas and general unit. Cleans and stores equipment. Empties trash, linen bags, and sharps containers. Stocks medical supplies, linens, and paper goods. Performs basic clerical duties such as answering phones, taking messages, filing, and copying. Organizes care in a manner that contributes to the overall quality of the team. Performs other functions as required. Orientation includes EPIC training. Scrubs required and provided by the facility.

Must Have:

• 1 year of medical assistant needed
• AHA BLS Certification
• Must be a team player
• Must have CMA Cert.
