Central Technology Center Operator Job at Walden Security Commercial Services
CTC Operator monitors and respond to all activities related to virtual guarding, video remote monitoring remote access control. Reports Severe weather alerts to operations and the field. CTC Operator will act on any suspicious activity and follow post orders on how to respond to the suspicious activity.
Other duties may be assigned by the CTC Manager:
- Monitors all sites and document all events/alarms. Take action in accordance with our policies and procedures and client post orders;
- Conducts site tours of client sites according to client contracts and policy and procedures;
- Operates security access control systems;
- Records security system alarms, facilities and security system/equipment deficiencies, and other occurrences for appropriate follow-up;
- Monitor the movements and locations of security personnel in order to expedite service requests, emergency responses and to ensure employee safety;
- Dispatches security officers to security/emergency incidents and other critical events occurring within the facility being;
- Makes accurate and timely notifications to leadership, client representatives, local emergency services, and other key personnel during routine and emergency situations;
- Conducts video investigations when an event occurs on any client sites;
- Compiles and delivers a variety of reports (ex: incidents, cameras issues, ) to Supervisors;
- Monitors weather;
- Performs other security-related functions as directed by management and the clients;
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures;
Completes incident reports.
The Ideal Candidate

- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or Technical School; or minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
