What You Will Do as a Brand Marketing Manager
Red Kap is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager for our workwear consumer business who will utilize best practices that drive the overall consumer experience starting with brand positioning, messaging, communications, design, and engagement. As part of the consumer marketing team, you will create a marketing plan that will grow new and existing customers as well as improve the overall brand health within our category. You will organize marketing launches from beginning to end while informing future marketing strategies and will be a key member of the cross-functional consumer team, working alongside Business, Finance, Product, & eCommerce to design and deliver effective, audience insights-driven, results-focused marketing activations. Additionally, this role will be responsible for annual planning, KPI setting, ongoing reporting, and budget management.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Manage brand positioning strategy and update as needed based on competitive landscape analysis
- Maintain brand standards and guidelines with strict brand governance across multiple content creators, audiences, and channels
- Manage all consumer brand marketing and creative asset creation
- Own and Implement brand content strategy, working closely with key stakeholders inclusive of driving the brand calendar and ensure coordinated activation against core brand priorities across multiple channels, audiences, and content creators
- Develop and implement unique and out-of-the-box brand campaigns, storytelling, and experiences that drive upper funnel awareness
- Develop & implement events strategy with unique & engaging customer experiences
- Work with journalists/PR agencies to ensure accurate brand representation and drive brand interest
- Establish strategic partnerships, collaborations, and outreach, and develop word-of-mouth opportunities to increase awareness and build brand equity
- Own Social Community interaction, engagement and listening plans focused on community growth & engagement
- Identify, implement & utilize community management tool(s)
- Lead brand marketing research and consumer data/insights/trends to drive brand marketing planning and assess performance of marketing spend and overall brand health
- Continual planning, tracking & optimization with focus on KPI reporting
- Manage brand marketing budget, effectively prioritizing and allocating resources
Skills for Success
- 5+ years of marketing experience in brand management with a focus on awareness building, events, social media, community management, PR and content strategies
- Project Management experience effectively managing complex, multi-touch marketing campaigns in a very fast-moving environment
- Strong collaborator able to work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive coordination between all parties
- A strong understanding and passion for all things brand marketing
- Understanding of what awareness and acquisition metrics are for various tactics and how to impact them
- A creative yet data-driven and analytical mind with demonstrated fluency with plan optimization
- Demonstrated experience owning and executing a plan to drive tangible results
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools
- Experience supervising and/or managing team member(s) or direct report(s) a plus
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors from contract review, scope of work assessment and setting expectations/deliverables
- A willingness to fail-forward, learn and grow
- Ability to switch between strategic thinking and tactical execution
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
