WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work closely with Service Department to ensure a high level of parts support is being delivered.
- Research, source, and price parts for service repairs.
- Determine parts needs through the use of literature, computer programs, and parts knowledge.
- Pull parts and stage for Mobile Technicians.
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, and parts and the associated costs of each.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on each transaction in an accurate timely manner.
- Provide relief as needed for front counter parts members. This includes (but is not limited to) responding to customers in person or by telephone whenever required and providing quotes or estimates for parts.
- Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed.
- Performing shipping/receiving and warehouse duties as assigned.
- This team member will work Monday-Friday, 3:30 pm-12:00am.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Self-motivated and assertive drive.
- Knowledge of Class 8 Truck parts
- Experience with ECAT or a similar program is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in parts sales or diesel tech
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person, in an effort to sell company parts and other services.
- Knowledge of parts inventory preferred.
- Above-average organizational skills.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts. (Training is available)
Starting Compensation: $22-25/hr (Depending on Experience)
