SeqMatic is seeking an associate scientist to join our sequencing service team. The position requires a strong background in molecular biology, particularly nucleic acid purification and NGS workflows. Qualification Requirements:
SeqMatic is seeking an associate scientist to join our sequencing service team. The position requires a strong background in molecular biology, particularly nucleic acid purification and NGS workflows. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Extract DNA and RNA from cells and tissues using manual and automated workflows;
- Prepare Illumina compatible sequencing libraries;
- Track and update sample information;
- Organize and maintain experimental records and lab procedures;
- Communicate in person and electronically with customers and team members;
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related science;
- Extensive hands-on experience RNA extractions from various samples types including blood, cells and frozen tissue
- In depth hands-on experience of Next Generation Sequencing library preparation;
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and with a team;
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills;
