Description: Primary Care Physician Assistant PA-C or Nurse Practitioner
This position opening is with Shawnee Health Care, Same Day urgent care clinic in Carbondale, IL. Same Day has an alternating schedule, no appointment necessary; walk in appointments only to treat minor injuries and illnesses. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired. 36-40 per week, 1 weekend per month.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education & Training
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, State of Illinois Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License and Board Certification:
- Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCP)
- Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory condition of employment. Absent an approved exemption/accommodation, all employees must be fully vaccinated by receiving both doses of a two-dose vaccine series (Pfizer or Moderna) or one dose of the single-dose vaccine (Janssen). Experience:
- A minimum of two years experience with the above certification.
