Alcohol Sales Operations Sr. Supervisor Job at PepsiCo

Overview

Last year, PepsiCo set up a new entity, Blue Cloud Distribution, Inc. (BCD) for wholesale operations of RTD Alcohol products - including selling, delivering, and merchandising products. BCD currently distributes Hard MTN DEW (developed and produced by the Boston Beer Company), and recently announced the addition of Lipton Hard Iced Tea (developed and produced by FIFCO USA) to the distribution portfolio. We are looking for talented and passionate team members to join the BCD team that will bring these exciting new products to market.
As part of the GTM & Sales Field Leadership Team supporting this business collaboration you will support the sales and distribution of BCD products within your specific field territory include ownership of the field sales and operations to ensure market penetration of this exciting new product.
This role requires eligible candidates to reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Michigan.

Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Maximize volume and revenue in a defined geography in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
  • Provide leadership to management and frontline employees with varying job responsibilities including logistics, distribution, and customer service
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfactionthrough superior service and execution
  • Maintain high levels of execution through efficient route sales and delivery, customer orders, productivity attainment, analysis, and effective staffing
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Effectively lead overall warehouse operations through consistent product availability, warehouse productivity, inventory, asset preservation and cost reduction efforts
  • Develop the organization by managing performance and developing individual capability
  • Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs
  • Ensure the team are experts in alcohol regulations for the state they operate in
  • Create efficiencies with routing solutions, while minimizing product waste through forecast accuracy and demand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales and delivery experience
  • Malt Beverage, Spirits/Wine industry preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning and some weekends
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
