Activity Director Job at Pacifica NewForest Estates
NewForest Estates Senior Living is seeking to hire an Activities Director to join our team of professionals. We are a Senior Living Retirement Community that consists of Independent Living and Assisted Living residents. We are looking for someone that is dedicated to serving the elderly with passion and energy. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, self-starter, organized, spirited and have to ability to motivate others. We prefer to hire a candidate with at least 2-3 years of experience in this industry, but not required.
This candidate will be responsible for creating an activities program that will provide life-enriching and fun activities for seniors. The Activities Director will be required to generate a monthly calendar of events that includes all the daily activities at the community along with promoting those activities. The Activities Director oversees our Transportation Department (2 employees) and the Activities Assistant (1 employee) in Assisted Living. It is highly important for our seniors to remain active and socializing with others.
