BASIC FUNCTION: Performs general housekeeping procedures in the plant, maintenance shop, and plant yard. Also assists in other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to comply with all company policies including Human Resources and Safety Regulations.
• Must acquire sufficient mechanical aptitude and dexterity to assess in minor repairs and maintenance procedures.
• Regularly work under pressure meeting project schedules.
• Required to work the hours needed to satisfactorily perform the work including overtime.
• Must have the ability to utilize common sense in all assignments and to efficiently organize time, material, and assignments.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills with customers and employees.
• Ability to manage stress and conflict in a professional manner.
• Be able to operate a forklift, loader, or other equipment, as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Definitions: Based on 8 to 12 hours per day

Continually 70-100%

Regularly 50-70%

Periodically 20-50%

Rarely – less than 20%

• Regularly spends time working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Periodically follow safe lifting practices to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs and up to 40 lbs on an regular basis.
• Regularly involves working in awkward positions, stooping and reaching, being exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, and noise.
• Regularly assisting other personnel in general housekeeping of plant, maintenance shop, and plant yard.
• Regularly works under pressure meeting project schedules and budget guidelines.
