Position Summary:

The Finance organization at Trupanion is excited to be adding a Workday Financial Analyst to the team! Trupanion's Workday Financials Analyst will own the general maintenance and updating of Trupanion's functional configuration. As a critical member of the team, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the evaluation and implementation of new features and requests for change. You will report up through the Finance Operations department and work closely with all Finance stakeholders to find opportunities for operational improvement.

Candidates for this position have the option to work remotely from anywhere in the US, or out of our Seattle office, depending on their preference.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain and extend functional configuration and features
• Research and evaluate the latest Workday features and recommend changes to the Finance team
• Manage regression testing for bi-annual update
• Work cross-functionally with the Finance team to gather requirements, configure, prototype, and test Workday solutions (validations, condition rules, calculated fields)
• Actively support internal users and handle bug fixes and enhancement requests
• Act as SME for integrations
• Support and Training
• Financial report design, development, and maintenance
• Build and maintain SOX controls, user roles, and complete quarterly User Access Reviews.

Experience:

• Expertise with Workday Financials configuration in the following modules (FDM, Customers, Banking and Settlements, Suppliers, Expenses, Procurement, Business Assets, Integrations)
• Experience with Workday HR, Payroll and other modules, preferred
• Workday Report design/development, preferred
• Workday certifications, preferred
• Adaptive Planning experience, preferred
• Accounting experience and basic understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles, preferred

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail are a must
• Consistent record of thinking critically and tackling problems in the workplace
• Strong written and verbal communication demonstrated throughout all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage a diverse array of projects in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of researching issues independently
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment and achieve results through influencing and holding team members accountable

Education, Registration & Certification:

• BS in Accounting preferred

Compensation:

• The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 on a full-time schedule
• Along with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
• Trupanion may also provide Restricted Stock Units, which vest over 4 years
