Architectural Signage Company in Pittsburgh is seeking a Wayfinding Sign Planning specialist to support the Project Management team in coordinating and planning complete signage packages for clients in hospitality, healthcare, corporate, retail, manufacturing, etc.

The Wayfinding specialist will work with the PM to interface with clients, including architects, designers, contractors, and installers to identify the signage needs of each property/site, which may include travel for information-gathering site surveys. Further responsibilities include using sign planning software tools to draft location plans, message schedules, and signage counts for client approval and in-house manufacturing.

The requirements for this position include:

- 4 year College degree

- 5+ years experience in sign planning and wayfinding with preferred experience utilizing Sign Agent

- Experience utilizing office tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, file navigation/management using a shared network drive, database management systems

- Good attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.

- Ability to meet project timelines/deadlines against time constraints while maintaining a professional demeanor

- Enjoys working in a fast pace, high-energy environment

- Ability to collaborate with a team, set deadlines, and establish and followed protocol.

- A “can do” attitude, a self-starter with a tendency to ask questions as part of the learning process, and the ability to synthesize direction/feedback into constructive action.

- PMP, software, or other professional certification is a plus.

- Experience in manufacturing, design, print, etc. a plus.

- Ability to read architectural and construction documents, AUTOCAD required

- Experience playing high-level competitive sports is a plus

The position can either be local or remote (with some travel to Pittsburgh and elsewhere as needed).
