Warehouse Worker - Moonachie, NJ Job at Henry Schein
OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for all warehouse duties including but not limited to unloading trucks, receiving inventory, putting away incoming inventory, and processing staged orders to be shipped out the door. This role will possess knowledge of processing Bill of Ladings and properly identifying which carrier is to be used depending on the location of the customer. Maintenance of the warehouse is a priority as well as assisting with specialized projects at the main office as needed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Pulls orders to be shipped and processes shipping papers

Unloads incoming freight

Receives inventory into the ASTEA system

Maintains the warehouse and rotating inventory

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.

Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to operate a forklift
-
Basic computer skills are required in Microsoft Outlook and Word
-
General knowledge of small and large freight shipping is recommended
Experience:

Prior warehouse and forklift experience
Other:
-
Forklift certification will be completed by HSI
-
Valid driver’s license is needed
