WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all aspects of their assigned department operations as well as the development of their people. With the leadership and support of the President, the Warehouse Operations Manager builds capabilities within their teams to execute the overall strategy and achieve results for their department today and tomorrow.

They work cross-functionally with key partners on our Installation Teams and Operations to effectively achieve & exceed goals and produce outcomes in line with the company vision. The leaders we seek for these roles have a strong commitment to customer service and a culture of safety. They are a leading example of self-development to those around them and ensure they are always thinking of the customers.

• Manages a team of 10 people
• Leads department operations to meet specific company installation metrics.
• Leads strategic projects and assignments as required, under the direction of the President
• Effectively manages their budget with full accountability for operational labor and supply costs on a weekly and monthly basis
• Acts as a coach to their team playing a hands–on roll in their development to build their talent pipeline. They do this by actively developing their team through vision and goals, coaching and feedback.
• Engages in and leads trainings, team building, meetings and personal development
• Accountable for driving Warehouse Safety Program and maintaining a healthy work environment
• Manages employee performance including but not limited to attendance, vacation, annual review, merit process, and documentation

WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON

• 5-8 years of leadership experience in warehouse environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and high level of understanding of Warehouse Management System
• Ability to understand and implement lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to lead and maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
• Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
• Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
