Foundations is seeking Warehouse Associates that want to develop warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment skills, or who have previously worked in a warehouse or distribution facility and want to continue their career with a respected company in a clean safe, and professional work environment. Starting wages vary from $14 to $20 per hour based on prior work experience. However, it is important to note that prior warehouse experience is not required. All training is provided on the job and regular wage reviews and increases are provided as employee skills develop. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the receiving and unloading of goods and transfers goods from receiving dock to its proper location
• Verify goods received match purchase order before placing shipment in correct location
• Assist with the picking, labeling, and shipping of goods from inventory locations to proper dock location
• Verify goods picked match packing lists/pick lists before placing shipment in correct location
• After company provided training is completed, operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a professional and safe manner
• Using electronic devices to pick orders or put away inventory
• Assist with maintenance and cleanliness of forklifts
• Using computer terminals to print shipping documents

Education/Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is not required but may be rewarded with a higher starting wage

Requirements/Skills:

• Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions
• Able to operate hand-held electronic device
• Able to safely operate forklift, shrink wrap machine and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to handle various assignments in a given shift
• Good communication skills
• Able to work with fellow coworkers
• Follow-through and teamwork skills

Climate:

• Position involves regular hours of Monday to Friday 7 AM – 3 PM, with occasional overtime paid at 1 1/2 times hourly rate.
• No work on weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand and/or walk throughout the scheduled work shift.
• Able to complete light assembly work which includes opening cartons and sorting parts.
• Able to lift and/or move cartons of moderate weight.
