Summary:
Leverage the broad capabilities across Syneos Health to develop differentiating solutions, aligned to Syneos Health strategic priorities, ensuring clinical and commercial acceleration, operational efficiency and risk management. This role will also work in close partnership with key stakeholders across the organization like Global Client Engagement Specialists, Business Development, Proposals, Clinical & Commercial operations, Consulting, Technology & Data Solutions, Information Technology, and End-to-End (E2E) predictive analytics to both develop, operationalize, and ensure that data and evidence is captured and leveraged to ‘prove the value’ of Syneos Health differentiating solutions. Syneos Health has a significant opportunity to differentiate from our peer group of service companies through technology and data enabled integrated clinical and commercial strategy together with technical and operational solutions development and this role is pivotal to ensure that Syneos Health can provide differentiated solutions across all customer needs and continue to develop and implement novel solutions utilizing emerging data, data science, and operational capabilities. Individuals in this role are expected to be comfortable designing, communicating and delivering this differentiated solutions and associated messages to C-Suite levels at the client and internally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determines with Strategic BD leadership, IT, Technology and Data Solutions, and Operations prioritized accounts, capabilities, solutions and partners and is responsible for managing the interface of internal teams to develop and execute against key needs for both internal and external value opportunities.
  • Work in close partnership with client solution teams (e.g., TDS, RWLP), customer accounts (program level and executive level), internal operations teams (e.g., IT, Finance, Training), and leadership across our clinical and commercial business units to ensure development, operationalization, and differentiation of differentiated solutions and associated offerings and accelerate their integration into appropriate customer opportunities
  • Is a key point of contact for the client across our integrated solutions portfolio and select core clinical and commercial opportunities to drive differentiated solutions flowing through into proposal and BDM materials.
  • As a key point of contact for client, capability, and account teams, develop an understanding and network of resources to support articulation of Syneos Health innovative technology, data, etc., solutions and their value throughout the business cycle.
  • As a key point of contact for the client, adopt an account management mindset to continuously engage customers by developing a trusted advisor relationship by understanding their needs and being able to articulate the Syneos Health value proposition.
  • Translate insight about client and market needs and potential opportunities (i.e., white space) to internal teams to help inform the development and productization of new solutions, including drive innovative strategies and operational models in proactive proposals, inclusive of pricing, engagement and resourcing elements.
  • Leads in driving the total potential value ($ sales value and $ revenue contribution) of clinical and commercial opportunities in our E2E model and across prioritized accounts.
  • Will operate typically within a broader strategic partnership model and must be comfortable navigating and leading

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • BA/BS in Life Sciences or Data Sciences, equivalent education and experience across both domains, PhD/MD/MBA a plus. Consulting experience a plus. Superior Project Management skills and key stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong operational product development knowledge (clinical development is necessary and commercialization process is a plus) across across global drug development continuum.
  • Ability to lead and operate in white space/degrees of uncertainty.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams; experience working and delivering in cross development team structure.
  • Proven ability to convey executive presence and effectively navigate and communicate in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Above average attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational, interpersonal, communication and team-oriented skills. The ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
