Position Summary:
Volunteering at Mount Sinai South Nassau can be both satisfying and enriching. No experience is necessary: anyone with a little spare time, an easy smile and a kind heart qualifies. Whether you have just a few hours to give each day - or each week - you can truly make a difference in someone else's life by joining us.
Donate a few hours each week visiting patients or assisting in one of our many administrative or clinical areas. Get involved offering companionship and ambulation or assist with the Patient Library. Volunteering can be fun and rewarding and the opportunities are plentiful.
Volunteers are provided with a $4 cafeteria voucher per shift. The Hospital recognizes volunteers with special pin awards as they accrue hours and with an annual appreciation luncheon. For details, call the Volunteer Department at (516) 632-3928.
