VIP Event Door Host Job at Fame Status Entertainment
Overview:
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated VIP Door Host. Fame Status Entertainment is a national events company based in Chicago, that specializes in urban LBGTQ festivals, concerts, and nightlife events. The main role of the host will be to greet & check in guests arriving at our events. The ideal candidate must love interacting with people and enjoy nightlife. They also must have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. We will be hosting events in Chicago, LA, Miami, and Detroit in 2023, so the ability to travel is essential.
*$200 sign on bonus*
Responsibilities:
-Greet guest as they arrive and exit
-Scan/issue guest tickets
-Set up front of house (Signs, Register, ect)
-Handle cash and credit card transactions
-Walk guest to their tables/section
-UpSell tables/sections/tickets to inquiring guests
-Ability to work nights, weekends, and until 3am (Some nights)
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-High proficiency in technology such as apple products
-Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and drive
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
-Good analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
-Ability to travel
Compensation & Perks:
-$20hour; $2 raise after 60 days
-$200 sign on bonus. Paid on 3rd month
-Paid travel expenses to out of state events
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
