Veterinary Technician (neurology)

SCAN is seeking Veterinary Technicians for their growing Naples, FL veterinary neurology-neurosurgery hospital.

About you:

Ideal candidates are excited at the opportunity to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them by providing excellence in patient care and client communication.

You are a competent, and confident individual who possesses strong anesthesia, patient monitoring, surgical assisting, and anesthetic recovery skills. You are proficient in IVC placement, sample collection/preparation, and have knowledge of commonly used veterinary medications and anesthetic agents. You can accurately perform a variety of drug calculations and provide meticulous veterinary nursing care to your patients.

You must enjoy interacting and communicating with clients routinely. Our technicians provide regular updates to clients regarding their pet’s medical status, at home care, and continued management of complex neurological conditions in conjunction with our team of neurologists.

Schedule: Flexible scheduling, Day, midday, evening, and overnight shifts. Closed most major holidays.
