Valuation projects serve a variety of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax reporting, litigation, bankruptcy, portfolio valuation, and corporate planning. Assist domestic and global clients in numerous industries, including energy, healthcare, technology, real estate, hospitality, consumer and industrial products, telecommunications, and financial services, among others.
The Valuation Services Senior Manager is an integral part of the engagement team and is responsible for performing valuation modeling and related financial analyses, researching and supporting critical inputs, participating in client meetings and calls, and preparing client deliverables, such as valuation reports and/or PowerPoint presentations, with related analysis and exhibits. The Valuation Services Senior Manager will also contribute to developing new business through producing pitch decks and client proposals. The Valuation Services Senior Manager role involves overseeing the work of staff associates and developing junior staff through on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:

Lead project delivery teams assisting clients in the understanding of the valuation of businesses and intangible assets in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory reporting, restructuring, management planning, and disputes.

Design valuation project scope, manage day to day activities of project team and take responsibility for overall quality control of client deliverables

Lead the review of third party business and intangible asset valuation reports for audit support

Manage client relationships with the intention to become the key Firm contact for the client

Delegates work to Staff according to their experience and capabilities

Review the work of Staff, providing mentoring and performance reviews

Develop business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations
Qualifications:

7+ years of business valuation related experience

Valuation credentials, or pursuit of such credentials, a plus (ASA/AM, CPA/ABV, CVA, AVA, CFA) strongly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. A Masters or Juris Doctorate is a plus

Ability to articulately communicate professional/technical knowledge

Effective business advisory and client relations skills
