Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of managerial experience in the transportation industry
• 3 years of experience selling trucks and trailers with a successful sales history
• Knowledge of truck makes, models, and specifications for sales quotes
• Valid Driver’s License, required; CDL license, preferred
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Sales Territory will encompass the Central Florida area

Used Truck Sales Manager Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the Used Truck Center
• Coordinate all used truck business; including cost management
• Close sales within gross margin guidelines
• Meet and exceed sales goals for used trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Develop and maintain business relationships with multiple accounts
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers using outbound sales methods

Physical Requirements:

• The physical activity level for this position is sedentary to light (performing non-strenuous activities). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear or see and occasionally, stoop, crouch and kneel.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to work with hands and fingers
• Visual requirements include, close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Well lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
