Reporting to the Practice or Operations Manager, the role as Treatment Coordinator is to provide new and existing patients expert consultations by further explaining the Doctors’ comprehensive treatment plan, insurance coverage and payment options to help patients understand why the recommended treatment is important to their oral and overall health.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients regarding insurance benefits, the amount of benefit remaining, and the most beneficial way and time to plan their treatment
• Educate patients on affordable payment options including third-party lending
• Partner with the Doctor and patient to facilitate the patient completing the Doctor’s prescribed treatment plan
• Uncover and address patient’s barriers for completing treatment
• Alert the Doctor when patient has clinical questions
• Present case fees and financial options to patients to facilitate the decision to say “yes.”
• Update treatment plan information in the company system at the direction of the treating Doctor.
• Execute patient consults to ensure patients understand Doctor’s prescribed treatment plan and consults are done according to company policies
• Provide feedback to doctors regarding the presentation of treatment plans to patients.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and yearly production goals.
• Meet monthly and quarterly case acceptance and completion ratios for significant treatment
• Maintain positive patient reviews of the patient experience
