We currently have an opportunity in the Rocky Mount, NC region for an experienced Transportation Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, screen, interview, and hire CDL Class A driver applicants
• Manage client relationships
• Maintain and manage driver fleet
• Plan and conduct driver safety meetings
• Perform accident investigations
• Administer workers comp return to work program
• Submit reports on MS Word/Excel/Outlook as required
• Administer DOT drug/alcohol compliance program
• Administer awards and discipline programs
• Work any hours as Operational issues dictate
• Educate and promote safety to drivers in the field

Qualifications:

• Experience in transportation management
• Experienced in Transportation/ Logistics/Supply Chain/ Human Resources
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Willing and able to travel in an assigned geographical area
• Ability to prioritize based on customer or company needs
• Basic knowledge of computer
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
• CDL preferred but not required
• Bilingual a plus but not required
