About the Job:
The Nutrition Group has an open position of Transportation Manager. This position entails overseeing and managing the meal delivery drivers and delivery vehicles at a large production kitchen.
Duties to Include:
- Management of multiple delivery drivers
- Updating routes as necessary for daily deliveries
- Driver training on safe and defensive driving
- Driver training on daily protocols, practices, and necessary check lists
- General Supervision of Delivery staff
- Efficient maintenance scheduling
- Backup driving when necessary
- Client interaction
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification (on-site training available)
- Related Management Experience a plus
- Delivery Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
