Overall description:

The Training Coordinator will support training programs and initiatives within the Atlas Point, DE facility. This role will facilitate and present training to production, lab and office employees.

This role will support Croda’s Training Executive in the execution of the intern development program through direct contact with participants and as coverage for other training responsibilities.

Key Duties:

  • Support operational and production initiatives through training and developmental programs
  • Ensure employees are trained on provided topics for job knowledge, safety, compliance and individual development
  • Build training programs including content and delivery strategy - whether in person or electronically, for a variety of audiences, both administrative and operations oriented.
  • Maintain and refine training delivery systems including training materials, workstations, and facilities. Participate in general site projects.
  • Assist in development and execution of a site internship program for local students. Able to communicate effectively with students and teachers.
  • Help manage formal, site union apprentice program as regulated by the Delaware Dept of Labor.
  • Identify training and competency gaps with individuals and systems, develop solutions and implement.
  • Effectively communicate with people at all levels within the site, local industry, local schools and regulators. Demonstrate a high level of influence and persistence with hourly and union workforce to complete training.
  • Provide organized training records, documents, and other information as required during regulatory and customer audits.
  • Plan and organise multiple short to medium term projects and all training activities. Planning and organising multiple training activities across multiple working patterns and disciplines.

Experience & Education required:

  • Bachelors or Associate degree
  • Training experience preferred
  • Knowledge of training process and situational learning
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
