Location: Remote, but needs to live in DC area as there will be periodic meetings on site.

Position Description:

The Training Analyst develops training work products to advance the implementation of skills and competencies reforms.

Minimum/General Experience: 4 years of experience as a Training Analyst

Minimum Education: Bachelors' Degree in business, communications, or training or a similar concentration; or additional 6 years of experience

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Above average experience providing administrative support to project teams in the planning and execution of training efforts
  • Above average experience developing job aids, video tutorials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support training activities
  • Experience with business writing, proofing, and editing general training communications and documents to assist with project delivery
  • Experience creating and maintaining process documentation to support the successful execution of training activities
  • Experience supporting meetings on delivery training and learning development programs
  • Experience administering training course evaluations
  • Experience assisting with compiling feedback data and preparing reports
  • Experience providing program logistics virtually and in-person (e.g., delivery logistics, audio-visual coordination, technology support)
  • Experience supporting virtual delivery of program offerings by serving as technical producer for facilitators
  • Experience creating meeting agendas and leading meetings
  • Strong ability to collaborate and build interpersonal relationships with clients
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Experience supporting learning initiatives (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) (preferred)
  • Ability to perform various functions within Excel (e.g., V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and Formulas) (preferred)
  • Experience in a highly complex stakeholder's environment (preferred)

Security: Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years

  • DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to the project team in the planning and execution of training efforts
  • Develops job aids, video tutorials, and SOPs to support training activities throughout implementation
  • Assists with general training communications around program logistics, proofing and editing training documents to support the delivery of projects
  • Creates and maintains process documentation to support the successful execution of training activities
  • Administers training course evaluations and assists with compiling feedback data and preparing reports
  • Supports training program logistics including delivery logistics, audio-visual coordination, technology support, catering, and other program logistics support in a virtual and classroom environment
  • Supports virtual delivery of program offerings by serving as a technical producer for facilitators
  • Creates meeting agendas and leads meetings, noting upcoming tasks, tracking statuses and key milestone dates, and provides status reports
