Technical Truck & Trailer is seeking an Experienced Trailer Repair Technician. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-guided individual interested in joining a team that’s focused on aggressive growth and maintaining quality service with a customer-first approach. Candidates must possess the skills needed to maintain a fleet of vehicles as well as adapt to new situations as needed to keep the customer’s fleet moving.

Hourly Rate

$20 to $30 depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of trailers.
• Perform PM and D.O.T inspections.
• Van and reefer trailer body repair.
• Wheel end repairs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures as well as legal regulations
• Prepare and maintain handwritten and computer-generated work records of garage activities

General Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Trailer Technician
• Ability to obtain state certifications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with oxygen/acetylene torches
• Experience with MIG welding
• Provide your own tools
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre employment physical, drug screen, and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments
