Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True”, responsibilities of this position include ensuring every guest has a clean, safe and enjoyable environment during each visit to the movie theaters in The Villages Theater Division. This is executed by selling or issuing authorized movie tickets, serving or selling food and beverages, and cleaning and maintaining the facility. This position is also responsible for delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $11.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome each guest with a smile and a friendly, cheerful greeting.
- Prior to opening, check auditoriums for lights, broken seats, debris and other maintenance issues and communicate these problems to the Manager on Duty.
- Prior to opening, check all restrooms to ensure cleanliness and properly stocked restroom supplies.
- Follow opening, closing, emergency and safety procedures as instructed.
- Treat every guest and co-worker in a professional manner by communicating effectively and professionally at all times during, but not limited to, general conversation, telephone usage, and walkie-talkie operation.
- Maintain awareness of promotions, activities and events in The Villages Theater Division as well as promotions, activities and events in The Villages.
- Update signage as necessary.
- Maintain awareness of industry guidelines which includes, but is not limited to, the following: ADA requirements, identification requirements, rating restrictions, video equipment restrictions, and outside food or drink restrictions.
- Convey needs or requests of guests to management.
- Communicate operational needs or requests to management.
- Communicate with co-workers and management to optimize guest flow with regards to lines, seating and emergency situations
- Ensure each patron has an authorized movie ticket by verifying that the date, show time, category and film title are correct on each ticket presented.
- Efficiently and accurately handle cash and all types of accepted payments.
- Maintain POS material and signage as needed.
- Take orders for concession items, itemize and total checks, and accept payments for transactions on touch screen computers.
- Prepare, serve and maintain food and beverage items.
- Stock and correctly rotate items in display counters to ensure quality and freshness to guests.
- Prepare stock lists to be filled by supervisors.
- Assist supervisors pulling stock from warehouse for the concession stand.
- Clean counters, all concession equipment, cabinets, signage, freezers, walk-in cooler, etc. during every shift.
- Check each auditorium (twice each set) for sound, temperature, disruptions, etc. and communicate problems to the Manager on Duty.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, theaters, concessions, restrooms, stockrooms, hallways, entrances, perimeter, and all common work areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors between rush times.
- Clean seats, armrests and cup holders in all auditoriums.
- Replenish all restroom supplies.
- Remove all trash from facility and its extensions into a designated dumpster.
- Possess the ability to give accurate directions to the facility through familiarity of the surrounding community.
- At closing, ensure that guests have vacated all auditoriums and all restrooms.
- At closing, secure all auditorium exit doors and exterior theater doors.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Customer service experience.
- Cash handling experience or training.
- Must have departmental software computer knowledge (based on department employed by with a minimum of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Must obtain Food Handler’s Certification (class provided by company).
- Must obtain a Responsible Alcohol Service Certification (class provided by company).
