Territory Account Manager (SLED) Job at Vari

Vari® is looking for an energetic and solution-oriented Territory Account Manager to add to its Inside Sales Team. This position is a full-time, client focused role with emphasis on business development as well as account management functions. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing long lasting relationships within accounts in an assigned territory, ultimately supporting fans for life.
The primary responsibility of our Territory Account Manager is to manage existing accounts, hunt for new customers and qualify project-based leads for a specific territory. This role also partners closely with the Sales Executives and Sales Associates in the market. The Territory Account Manager will promote and present Vari products to targeted customer profiles to drive sales revenue. This role will require the ability to deliver product presentations, support customer inquiries, manage projects and deliver a preferred customer experience. This Territory Account Manager is responsible for identifying targeted customers and developing solutions based on customer short and long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing, highly organized, and able to navigate customer needs to provide value.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own transactional account management, business development and lead qualification for a specific territory.
- Work with customers to understand needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, as well as outbound calls and emails to potential future customers.
- Manage the relationship with all current customers in your assigned territory, including any follow-on sales
- Respond swiftly and courteously to customer inquires
- Sell the full suite of Vari solutions
- Team with appropriate field sales members and leaders for strategic and complex projects
- Prepare solutions, pricing and bid packages independently or alongside Sales Executive/Sales Associate
- Manages activities in Salesforce and other online tools for communication, design and project management
- Responsible for developing deep customer relationships and creating lifelong Vari fans
Requirements:HOW YOU’LL GET THERE
- 1-3+ years of relevant sales, account management or business development experience
- Gifted in verbal communications and relationship building
- Skilled at delivering engaging presentations and communicating information clearly
- Ability to build rapport of the phone or email
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize with the needs of the customer
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM and other relevant business software tools
- Proven track record of consistently achieving assigned sales quotas
