Telehealth Coordinator Job at Griffith Centers
Nature of Position:
Over the course of the Broadband Grant project, the Coordinator will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. This project runs through June 30, 2023, As the Telehealth program is then fully implemented, this position will Develop and maintain positive working relationships with GC clinicians and visitation facilitators, and county caseworkers, navigators, and clients. Manage referrals for all telehealth referrals and possible Arapahoe and Buena Vista locations. Is responsible for database management, scheduling, reporting, file compliance quality assurance, visitation, and other administrative functions as assigned. Maintain statewide tracking of referrals and billed hours.
Important responsibilities for the Telehealth Coordinator include:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Ensure that all project details, materials, and scope clarifications are communicated and put together for the Director, GC team and executive team as needed
- Develop/maintain relationships with Counties
Keep in contact with all contracted Counties professionals
Relay case information as needed:
- Tardiness, Cancellations
- Critical incidents
- Coverages
- Transfers
- Referral assignment and management
- Accept/Deny
- Communicate with Counties to manage the flow of referrals
- Enter referrals to EHR system daily
- Track/manage discharge referrals and DNEs
- Assign cases - Send full referral list link out to team 3x weekly, and meet and communicate directly with team
Complete Telehealth Billing as needed:
- Maintain statewide tracking of referrals and billed hours
- Pull reports from EHR system
- Update spreadsheets
- Send weekly reports to the Director of Outpatient Mental and Behavioral Health Services
- Maintain file compliance for Denver Metro area
- Run regular file compliance reports and send audits to contractors/employees and their direct Supervisor or Clinical Consultant
- Other duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor or the Director of Outpatient Mental and Behavioral Health Services

Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Priority given to candidates with work experience in or emphasis on Business, Operations, and Project Management
Skills & Experience
- Previous project management experience is required; Priority is given to candidates with management experience in broadband and virtual platforms and experience with/for a non-profit
- A minimum of three years of project management, operations, and customer service experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, and Microsoft Suite including Teams
- Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative in researching solutions, processes, new policies etc. that may be released by the county, state, or mental and behavioral health field
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, time management, organizational, communication, and reasoning skills.
