Mechanical System Services is seeking Service Technicians for commercial applications to complete service and repairs. Varying skill levels are welcome and we will train the right candidate. Varying experience levels welcome, from small to large kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical experience, we want to talk to you! The ideal candidate has extensive food equipment repair, HVAC, Electrical and refrigeration experience.

Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Install, service, and repair food equipment, HVAC and refrigeration and much more.
  • Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment.
  • Swiftly respond to customer calls regarding issues or malfunctions.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide service and repairs. As well as options and timeframes.
  • High level customer service and communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Elevated mechanical aptitude and capability.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive.
  • Team player in all communication and actions.
  • Proficient with time management strategies to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Accepts direction and feedback constructively, excels in a structured work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Not required but post-secondary technical training/ certification from a trade or vocational school; appliance repair, HVAC, electrical, refrigeration is a plus.
  • Not required but 1-2 years of experience, knowledge of appliance service, repair, and installation is a plus. elevant education in electrical or electronics. Automotive, aircraft or mechanical engineering also acceptable.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • National certification from the ISCET. (a plus)
  • Previous factory appliance training. (a plus)
  • Electrical background. (a plus)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license for the state of WS and clean driving record.
  • Not required EPA certification is a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift to 70 lbs.
