Technical Training Developer / Instructor Job at Elevated Technologies LLC
Elevated Technologies, LLC is looking for Technical Training Developers / Instructors who will design, develop, and deliver classroom and practical technical training using sound instructional design strategies and content to align with the developmental performance requirements of the DoD and OGAs. Candidates will use current and advanced technologies to lead innovative approaches to achieve higher quality and shorter duration training cycles from novice to operational competence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop training materials using Microsoft (MS) Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and various virtual collaborative platforms.
- Translate technical processes into easy-to-understand inter-active courseware and simulations.
- Evaluate learning processes and update training through periodic audits and training needs analyses.
- Collaborate across programs to develop training to meet the needs of different business units and DoD programs.
- Validate procedures and course content utilizing corresponding government furnished information.
- Develop specialized training by performing task-based training needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of training planning, forecasting, and scheduling.
- Develop content, programs, and solutions using current and innovative learning processes.
- Position is a mix of remote work from home and travel both CONUS and OCONUS as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
This position requires the applicant meets one of two mandatory certification requirements at the time of application. Applicants meeting both requirements at the time of application will be given first consideration. Applicants meeting one requirement will be considered based on the availability of certification training, and if selected for employment, must pass the company-provided training to gain the second certification.
- Certified instructor with DoD or Industry equivalent instructor course such as the Army Basic Instructor’s Course and Navy Instructor Training Course.
- Certified Aerostat Operator Qualified: Certified on a Lighter than Air (LTA) system, to include 22M, 17M, 74K, 34M, TARS, tactical, and other strategic aerostat programs.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a technical field.
- Maintain ability to possess a DoD-issued Secret security clearance.
- Possess a valid U.S.-issued passport and ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
- Preferred 1-3+ years’ experience in a training development and instructional delivery role.
Desired Minimum Qualifications:
- Training or technical documentation experience a plus.
- Ability to apply adult learning principles and incorporate into curriculum design and development.
- Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and ROI to leaders.
- A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Use and interpretation of TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-14 and 350-70-12 with particular emphasis on Program of Instruction and Training Support Package creation.
