The Technical Recruiter is responsible for performing full life-cycle recruitment to support internal and external staffing needs by working with hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). Must be willing to work in the Fulton, MD office.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in full lifecycle recruiting activities.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled.
  • Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
  • Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
  • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Years of Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources related field is required.
  • At least three (3) years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles a plus.
Required Skills
  • Must have previous experience recruiting technical candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and interpret customer requirements.
  • Comfortable interacting with highly technical candidates and senior leadership.
  • Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Possess a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
