Job Summary
Delivery and evolution of a technology roadmap that will enable the growth of Border States service offerings. Manages technology projects through the entire project lifecycle which includes, managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to their conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring cross-project requirements are identified and detailed for cohesive design and end user experience. Provides guidance and design direction to teams and departments to resolve functionality and implementation issues.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Partner with stakeholders and business leadership to understand strategic direction and develop a roadmap to maximize results against those objectives.
- Ability to be a change agent introducing new business processes and new system enablement.
- Strategic mindset and sound business acumen is required. Including:
- Understanding of Production orders
- Understanding of Order Fulfillment
- Understanding of Process orders
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Service
- Understanding of on-site service processes
- Leads technology enablement solutioning.
- Ability to guide and suggest best practices.
- Ability to strategically plan and create multi-year Service Product roadmap
- Collaborates with technical and functional system owners to quickly define, build, test, iterate and deliver.
- Partners with UX to ensure UX requirements are captured in user stories.
- Prioritizes iteration and defect backlog grooming.
- Guides the delivery of leading-edge solution functionality and data through all customer workflows across all applicable technologies.
- Reviews, plans, and implements patches and upgrades.
- Leads well-defined translation of customer requirements into use cases that allow development teams to deliver customer value rapidly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 4 Year STEM Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 year of relevant work experience.
- Advanced understanding of relational databases, client-server applications.
- Experience in project management best practices and agile development procedures.
- Familiarity with related languages including but not limited to SQL, ABAP, Java and .Net is a plus.
- Proficient level knowledge of PC, Windows, Microsoft Office365 Suite, and Internet.

- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive, and engaged.
- Strong communications skills with a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical), and in a wide range of settings (e.g., one-on-one, small group, in person, conference calls, presentations and via e-mail).

- Has a mindset for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
