JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Talent Recruiter will hire candidates for various jobs for Strategic Kids, such as Enrichment Instructors for Chess and LEGO after-school classes for children of all ages.
- At least one year of recruiting experience is required.
- Needs to know how to seek and hire the best candidates for each job that can work with children of all ages.
- Needs to know how to type job descriptions for new job openings, screen candidates online, and set up and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Needs to be flexible and positive as new jobs need to be posted and filled under various deadlines.
SALARY
- $54,000 (plus bonuses)
SCHEDULE
- The Talent Recruiter works Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
- There’s flexibility to work from home and the Strategic Kids Staffing Office/Learning Center in Laguna Hills.
- All in-person interviews must be conducted at the Strategic Kids Staffing Office/Learning Center.

- Support various schools and districts, such as Chess and LEGO, to help fulfill their enrichment instructor needs.

- Knows how to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Manage multiple hiring needs simultaneously across several regions of California initially and eventually several regions across the country. (Strategic Kids is located in four states.)
- Ability to take in and prioritize requests to hire from different Strategic Kids departments, regions, and Program Directors.
- In-person training at Strategic Kids Staffing Office/Learning Center.
- Eventually, work mostly or fully remote from home.
- Develop staffing strategies to meet the needs of each department.
- Creatively fill positions when new staff members are needed.
- Coordinate with new employees to begin their onboarding process online.
- Fulfill staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all positions.
- Keep meticulous interview and candidate records.
- Utilize phones, texting, emails, and online software to find and hire new talent.
- Maintain daily reports and provide weekly updates to management.
- Coordinate with payroll to verify staff details and initial hiring process.
- Proficiency with various programs, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
- There are ongoing deadlines associated with this position.
