Talent Management Team

We manage the life cycle of talent management for the organization which consist of; onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, recruitment, interviewing, hiring new staff in accordance with all regulatory policies and requirements. Position: Talent Management Specialist

Reports To: AVP, Talent Management & Compensation

Location: 590 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10011

What The Talent Management Specialist will contribute:

  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., and innovative solutions to identify and attract quality candidates to meet our hiring goals.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and/or in person), schedule panel interviews as necessary, administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings for assigned positions.
  • Creates a talent pipeline of candidates that are engaged and can be placed into vacant positions as they become available.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., clearance process, benefits & compensation).
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience in the Human Resources field required. Experience with full cycle recruiting required. Must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work within short deadlines.
Must be willing to travel throughout New York City using public transportation. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required. Knowledge of HRIS and other HR-related data systems is strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Pay: $67,200.00 - $74,500.00 per year
