Job Summary:

Oversee recruiting function and hiring process for all client groups; analyze job orders, screen, and evaluate candidates. Develop and maintain working relationships with placement agency and community programs. Coach and counsel managers and employees on client group policy and procedures. Interpret client group handbook.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee Recruiting Function

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteriaSource candidates
  • Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes across multiple platforms
  • Conduct candidate screening calls to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills and refers qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials; facilitate interviews with hiring manager
  • Make hiring recommendations when appropriate; collaborating with the hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Ensure appropriate candidate testing is completed, when applicable
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities
  • Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications
  • Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants
  • Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees, based on client group needs
  • Track and maintain open job orders
  • Develop or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs

Administrative Tasks & Reporting

  • Work with Marketing Department to create media advertisements
  • Oversee and maintain employee referral program
  • Track and report out monthly on the following recruiting KPI’s: Cost per hire, Candidate source, offer acceptance rate, first year turn over, and time to fill
  • Maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions

Coach & Counsel

  • Advise management on organizing, preparing, or implementing recruiting or retention programs
  • Conduct annual anti-harassment and discrimination training

On & Offboarding

  • Initiate onboarding checklist
  • Schedule and conduct new employee orientations
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure 30/60/90 day evaluations are complete
  • Initiate offboarding checklist
  • Schedule and conduct exit interviews

Other

  • Complies with established company work rules, policies, and procedures
  • Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase profitability
  • Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles, or responsibilities, as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in interviewing

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Art in Business, Organization Development, or Human Resource Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access various departments in a given location. Must be willing to travel to other work sites/locations using a vehicle, whether personal or company owned

Pay range: $55,000-$60,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
