As a Systematic Investment Portfolio Analyst within PNC's Asset Management organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA.

As a member of the Custom Index Management team, you will be focused on developing passive portfolios that sit as a core to Tax Management and Responsible Investing products of the AMG Investment Office’s guidance for our clients. You will conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses, partnering with our Investment Advisors, Portfolio Analytics group, trading implementation, and risk management teams, to deliver portfolio customizations that satisfy a variety of our client needs. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed performance and attribution, exposure, and risk reports that are presented to the Investment Policy Committee and client-facing investment advisors.

Preferred experience/skills:
  • Experience with quantitative/systematic investing either as a research analyst or client-facing advisor
  • Strong programming capabilities, including systems like Excel with macros, Morningstar Direct, AXIOMA, Bloomberg and FactSet are key to success in this role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with Python
  • Pursing CFA designation
Job Description

Executes the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs.
Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.
Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.
Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
