System Trainer / Functional Analyst

Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced functional resource to support the implementation of several organizations at a Government Agencies and Defense Contractors to Sunflower asset management system. The resource will be a member of the functional implementation team and assist the organizations through the functional activities, including configuration, as-is process identification, to-be process definition, detailed designs, process re-engineering, conversion, testing, with a primary focus on training. They should have an understanding and demonstrated knowledge of the SDLC process and a knowledge of federal asset management best practices, processes and procedures would be preferred.
The Sunflower Asset Management solution is a web-based and mobile enterprise asset management software tool used by federal agencies, contractors, national labs, state and local government organizations, and higher educational institutes. All functional team members receive Sunflower software and asset management training prior to providing customer support.
The functional resource will be responsible for development of training materials, user guides, training program development and end user training. Program will include periodic training and documentation updates as needed to include changes from enhancements and releases.

The individual will be involved in a variety of functional and business process tasks to meet the client objectives. This may include:
  • Creating documentation, written policies, and standard operating procedures for distribution to all individuals involved in the implementation process
  • Creating user guides, training documentation, job aides as needed
  • Developing training agendas and programs and executing training efforts
  • Developing design documentation based on customer requirements that will be leveraged to develop functionality
  • Testing system functionality and troubleshooting system errors
  • Additional tasks as necessary to meet customer objectives
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the information technology, retail, service, business operations, customer support, consulting or asset management fields. Acts as a service provider to clients and project teams
  • Familiarity with the organizations, roles, and systems involved in the federal financials
process (Asset Management preferred)
  • Experience in implementation and support of a federal IT system (Asset Management preferred)
  • Experience training novice/new users on a IT system (Asset Management preferred).
  • Experience and comfort facilitating meetings, training sessions, and group presentations
  • Strong presentation skills to clients
  • Strong writing skills and presentation material development skills
Desired:
  • Have experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Have strong oral and written communications skills
  • Be a detail oriented multi-tasker
  • Be able to own tasks from start to finish

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,000.00 - $116,000.00
