Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a System Administrator to our team! The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Heritage Ministries network and computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support LANs, WANs, and computer systems.
- Maintain system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
- Make recommendations for future upgrades.
- Assist in maintaining network and system security.
- Analyze and isolate issues.
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Evaluate and modify system's performance.
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
- Assist in maintaining thin clients, printers, smartphones, and laptops
- Assist in maintaining servers, network switches, cisco phones, and firewall.
- Perform daily administration of software deployment, security updates and patches

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in system administration.
- Experience with Citrix XenApp Cisco Switches, VMWARE, and vSphere is required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with people who have various degrees of computer knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with other IT staff. Some evening hours and some travel are required.
