About This Opportunity
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our Operations team. You would manage incoming and outgoing inventory, Material transfers across multiple locations, coordinate weekly cycle counts, manage daily transactions from warehouses and purchasing and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile with root cause analysis.
You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up to date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage, track and document changes in incoming and outgoing inventory
- Ensure effective stock levels across multiple warehouses by coordinating shipments accordingly from hub
- Ensure Warehouse space is effectively utilized by going over obsolete/discontinued and removing them accordingly
- Communicate with Purchasing for Defective Products on a timely basis from shipments
- Establish strong Inventory Control practices at multiple locations by working directly with Operations Managers
- Be responsible for cycle counts, Audit different sections of inventory on a rotating basis
- Reconcile discrepancies and establish Process so discrepancies can be eliminated
- Review and approve Write off on inventory after thorough Investigation
- Use our ERP system to manage inventory levels
- Ensure proper material transactions are done at different locations and on a timely basis
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with requisite experience OR
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management or related field
- 5+ years of prior inventory control experience
- Specialized in multi-location inter departments inventory transfers on daily/weekly basis
- 3 years previous ERP system experience, especially related to controlling inventory
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Building materials or construction industry experienced preferred
