Hickory Recovery, a network of experts who specialize in providing the absolute best rehab treatment for alcohol and drug addiction, is seeking a Substance Abuse Coach that has a passion for providing the highest quality of care with compassion and integrity while leading a successful team!
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Substance Abuse Coaches will provide group, and family therapies. Experience in addiction-related therapeutic approaches is highly desirable. Coaches will treat a selected caseload of female or male clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction-related issues. These clinicians must be able to lead peer group programming and participate in multi-disciplinary treatment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Substance Abuse Coach provides group therapy as well as Peer Recovery sessions on a weekly basis. Timely and complete medical record documentation is required. The Substance Abuse Coach will participate in working with clients’ families to create dedicated support networks and to promote healthy relationships while in treatment. The Coaches will participate in peer-review process while implementing relapse prevention, skill development, and evidence-based practices within group therapy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates or Bachelor level degree in Psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Certifications Required, CADAC II, CADAC IV, CADAC V, & or Peer Recovery
  • Must be participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Manager
  • At least two years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of the impact of the disease process and human behavior
  • Group facilitation experience preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends
  • In-depth knowledge of various counseling approaches
  • Skill in working with a variety of cultures independently and implementing time management strategies
  • Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinical staff
  • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance with impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skill
  • Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and ability to use an EMR
  • Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills with ability to understand the requirements of the clientele
  • Reliable transportation is required
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
Weekdays M-F 9a-5p or 10a-6p
COMPENSATION:
Hourly- $17.78- $20.50
REQUIRED LICENSURE:
Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor (CADAC II, IV, V)
Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach I ( CAPRC I)
Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II ( CAPRC II)
Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC)
