Full-time Ironworker position

This position is primarily an experienced Iron-worker certified in SMAW welding. Capable of 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G welds. To start you will be expected to understand basic weld symbols, and have minimal experience in reading construction drawings.

We do a wide range of activities such as full structural steel additions, reinforcing work, stairs, and railings.

Typical shift: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (sometimes Saturday)

40 hours/week

Eligible for Overtime and New York State Prevailing Wage

Hours can vary depending on project.

All employees must complete federal Form 1-9 Employment Eligibility Verification showing they are authorized to work in the United States.

• Tape Measure
• Utility Knife
• Square
• Steel-toed boots

Responsibilities: Punctuality and Dependability

• Represent Kerr Industries Inc. professionally on job sites
• Observe all safety rules on job sites and in the shop
• Safety glasses to be worn at all times in the field and shop
