Stella’s Ice Cream- Twin Falls is hiring! We are looking for smart, hard-working, friendly people to fill approximately 10 new BARISTA positions at our Twin Falls store location. Stella’s is an independent ice cream company serving hand made ice cream, coffee, soda and baked goods. On an average day, our Baristas will be grooving to the beat of the music while serving up delicious cups of coffee, lattes, cappucinos, mochas, sodas and other creative drinks to kids, friends & families.

Stella’s baristas are responsible for delivering on our promise to create a welcoming community-gathering place. This role is responsible for providing great service, consistent scoops, and good vibes during every shift. They ring up customers, keep the shop clean, choose fun upbeat music, and, most importantly, provide impeccable customer service.

Scooper Responsibilities:

* Welcome every customer that comes through the door or drive thru with a smile!

* Offer customers menu suggestions, and add-ons (as many as they want!)

* Make drinks, italian soda, smoothies and energy drinks with love and deliver fresh baked goods

* Keep cool under pressure even when the line is out the door and around the corner

* Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines with care

* Keep counter, seating, kitchen, and bathroom areas inviting

* Wash dishes and utensils throughout your shift (must love doing dishes by hand)

* Run cash register and iPad POS; follow Stella’s cash handling procedures

* Continually stock coffee supplies and baked goods and new inventory as it’s purchased

* Bring music to work to contribute to the shop’s fun environment

* Contribute to Stella’s goals for increasing sales and creating loyal through social media and outside events

* Share what’s awesome about Stella’s: our people, our process, and our products

* Thank every customer!

Barista Qualifications:

* You must LOVE people and especially kids!

* Have great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude

* Have retail or client/customer service experience

* Must be available 15+ hours per week including weekends, evenings and holidays.

* Able to work early mornings and/or late nights. We’re open at 6:00am and are open till 10 or 11 every night!

* Good music taste required

* Good grades and/or volunteer work or community involvement experience a huge plus

* Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis

* Stella’s Ice Cream is a drug and tobacco free company—we do not hire anyone who smokes or uses tobacco in any form

Barista Compensation:

* Great Tips ($4.00 to $10.00/hr)

* Incremental, merit based raises

* As much ice cream and coffee as you can eat yourself while off shift.
